Comikey is a platform for officially licensed manga, manhua, manhwa and webtoons, including simulpub releases. I led its Flutter app, rebuilt the reader and made purchases reliable.

Reader
I redesigned the manga and webtoon reader from the ground up, which made it much faster and more reliable. It got advanced vertical scrolling for webtoons, with wide spread pages that scroll horizontally inside the vertical feed (see the demo), a proper interactive mode with zoom and pan, and better episode unlocking.
Purchases and accounts
I built a transaction system that finishes operations even if the app is closed or the battery dies, and connected in-app purchases to it so payments are never lost. Guests can start reading without signing up, and a transactional merge moves their data into a regular account later. I also redesigned authentication to be more robust.
Everything else
A new home page, debug tooling for test builds, unit, widget, golden and integration tests, and CI/CD that validates the codebase and deploys the iOS and Android apps.
