Andrei Kabylin

Lead mobile engineer

I've been building iOS and Android apps for over a decade, mostly in Flutter, with Swift and Kotlin where native code matters. Most recently I built BookWalker from scratch: a manga, light novel and audiobook app with its own comic reader engine, an EPUB reader on native Readium, offline mode and DRM, packaged as modules other apps can reuse.

Before that I led mobile at Comikey, rebuilding its reader and making purchases more reliable, and worked on apps for Finblox, Holland & Barrett and TTM Wallet. I care about architecture and tests as much as features, and have contributed to Flutter and other open-source projects.

Lab

In my own time I build tools and libraries for my personal projects, and explore ideas I'm curious about. More demos.

The clip shows a chart widget I built to match the designer's look and feel exactly. It's drawn from scratch with math and Canvas, with no charting package involved.
